Sarah McIntosh, Full Bloom Indexing Services

An index is an essential tool for readers navigating the abundance of information contained in a book. I like to think it can bring a book into blossom for its readership, in that access to the author’s ideas is further enabled, creating the space needed for inquiry and understanding. As an indexer, this is my goal — to create a reflection of the text that is concise, comprehensive, helpful, well edited, and delivered on time. I have been indexing since 2016 and have worked with books in a variety of subject areas, with a focus on academic texts in the social sciences and humanities. Some subjects I’ve indexed include language and sociolinguistics, art history, tourism studies, neurodiversity, pedagogy, ecological and economic theory. I am interested in a wide range of topics and genres and welcome all inquiries.
